Here we are school holidays, days from Xmas and my luck both the kids laptops have failed with screen problems.

    Toshiba A200 Model :pSAF3A-0QH01N
screen boots up loading page fades and goes blank!

Very hard to determine which graphics card it runs and if faulty whether it can be changed out or upgraded? perhaps it is not the graphics card?

Also have same problem all sudden on a HP DV9514tx sn CNF73678NM, part num: GN431PA#ABG. This i believe is running a nVidia GeForce 7300 GT 256MB GDDR (DVI/DVI) (PCI-E but cannot be sure?
If ca anybody please tell me if it is it is interchangable. I can buy a GeForce GO7600?

From everything I have read it seems particularly the Nvidia cards have faulty glue prone to heat probs?
Trying manufacturers sites to determine exact build card sets?

If anybody has info i would be very pleased thanks??
