    Considering you got no reply to the other thread I think the problem is isolated to your own laptop otherwise others would have replied to your thread.....Intel CPU are far more reliable then AMD processor Speed/Processor power. Also if you trying to tie this to your other posting you should post there instead of here making it a double posting of the same problem.

    Different titles = Different viewers. Clearly I asked a simple question for which I didn't get the answer to the only reason the other thread was included with this posting was because details were requested without an answer.

    Means the problem is most likely isolated to your hardware as if others have it there would be some replies to it and this one. And Intel causing crashes one reason being bad heat sink or lack of proper thermal compound causing processor to overheat and shutdown. That would be the most likely cause in your situation the thermal compound probably no longer works and processor is overheating and shutting down to prevent thermal damage.
