    Hello,
I thinking about buying a new notebook to replace my old Toshiba L500-13w and I saw the C660D-1D3 on a local store for a good price, but I don't now too much about AMD's systems. The notebook would be mainly to work/browsing/movies, maybe some old games Like cs 1.6 and CS:Source, but gaming isn't what I'm looking, I already have the g74sx to game.

    But my questions are:
Would it be a good replacement for the L500-13w?
    Is the CPU better? GPU?
    Battery life?

I know that the C660D-13 is a bit smaller than the L500 and has less weigh which is good for me.

    Seps:
    L500-13W - Satellite L500-13W - Características do produto - Toshiba
    C660D-1D3 - Satellite C660D-1D3 - Características do produto - Toshiba

There was an ACER 5253 with similiar specs (E-450/6320) and price but from what I saw it has a diferent screen, would this be a better choose?

    Regards

Both the Toshiba C-Series and the AMD E-Series are both very lowend consumer grade products.

To get an idea of the use of the E-Series, they are mainly found in netbooks. I would think your pentium [dual-core?], would be able to perform on par if not better.

If you look here: Comparison of Laptop Graphics Cards - Notebookcheck.net Tech
you'll see that the 4570 is actually a better graphics solution [not by much] than the 6320.

Overall, not an upgrade, can be considered an equal replacement. I don't know your budget, but consider the AMD A-Series [the higher tier equivalent to the E-Series]. It's a mainstream CPU/GPU [CPU + GPU = APU] that comes with a quad-core and has a much better integrated graphics processor. The A-Series is a very good processor for a budget system.

Look here to see AMD's overview of their APU processors [A > E > C].

    Here's an example of a A-Series laptop.
