I'm considering buying the Toshiba M100-JG2 very soon and I'd like to ask those who own one how has it been for you? Has there been any problems with the notebook ever since you've purchased it?

I'm buying mine from my local Best Buy and I don't know if I should consider purchasing their Protection Plan. I don't want to, but I'm not really 100% sure of the durability of the M100.

Any thoughts you can give are greatly appreciated. Thanks. :D

I got a 2 yr extended warranty on my JG2 through Staples. So that's 3 yrs total. The guy convinced me by saying that to replace the battery would cost more than the extended warranty, which covers a battery replacement. I don't know if it was the right move but oh well.

As for the machine, I am pleased with it. I haven't had any technical problems or anything like that, had it for around 6 months but I don't use it that often.
