Hey, I was primarly intrested in Dell Laptops but have decided to give toshiba try.

I'm a gamer enthusiast and was wondering if there are any toshiba models that are really good performance wise. I dont mind carrying out a load of weight if they have performance.

The Dell xps is not av. in my country and the best performance laptop theyre offering now is with the x1400 gfx card, which I dont want.

Secondly, are there any toshiba laptops with these specs:

    1.8GHz Dualcore Processor
    2GB of Ram
    256mb dedicated Nvidia 7800Go/7800GTX/7900?
    100gb of Hardrive (5200/7200 rpm)
    17.1 inch screen

Can i customise a laptop, because I'm not really familiar with how Toshiba works!

    Thx for any help.

You can customize Toshibas on their site www.toshibadirect.com

The P105 on their site is their 'gaming' notebook but as far as I know its the only notebook on their site that is not configurable. The one closest to the one your specs is the P105-S921 which has the 1.8GHz dualcore, Go 7900GS, 160Gb hard drive, 17 inch screen, but it only has 1 gig of ram. Ram is pretty cheap so you could probably add it yourself and save some money.

You might want to look at their site and maybe do a net search of retailers in your country that have the P105-S921.

I am not really sure why the P105 is not configurable on their site, maybe because its new?? I just ordered a P100 (close to the same thing but comes with a Go 7600) and I was able to configure it on their site.

Hey, thanks I checked their site out and while some are configrable as you said some of them are not.

Also the retailers in my country (Hong Kong) do not yet offer the laptop you have mentioned. I guess I'll have a look around and see what else is on offer.

    Thx for your help! :)
