    Any good for X205?
Is there any problem with Toshiba warranty if we did not use their stock drivers??

Installing non-official release drivers won't void the warranty, but it doesn't mean they'll support it as well. The best thing you can do if you have a problem and need to send it back, provided it's not outright dead, is to use the restore discs to re-image the drive to the default.

Most computer companies won't support the machine full if you have installed "non-supported" applications. This can include drivers, as in their defense the company has not tested/certified them and therefore can not provide support on it, which is understandable.

I'm running them on mine with no problem. I still can't get HD-DVDs to play with the driver, however (not the Toshiba HD Player or PowerDVD). Over the stock drivers, they do make a bit of difference.

The folks at Anandtech did a driver comparison from the Toshiba X205 stock drive to the performance of the 163.44 drivers after I mentiond the performance benefit. Long story short, the drivers gave a small boost to most games (average was a 3% boost, but some games had far greater).

I've had a good experience with them overall.
