After both apdating my BIOS and installing XP (x86) w/ SP2 I noticed that my fan no longer returns to auto control after I wake up from sleep. It is fine if I wake up from Hibernate.

Anybody experiencing this with any model?

Maybe you should go back to the old BIOS. Obviously a setting in the new BIOS causes what you said.

Are the BIOS in the Windows inviroment downgradable by 1 or 2? I came from an older BIOS and also changed CPU's since and only one BIOS back will support the current T7600. But ya, I thought of this.

Is there anything app or driver that can be added to better control fan?
