    **Future Shop's return policy on notebooks?**

    When I talked to the worker at Future Shop the other day he said you have until Nov. 10th to return laptops (part of their holiday policy). That would mean I would be able to use it for over a month to decide whether I liked it or not. BUT I was just looking on Future Shop's site and it says this:

    Returns and exchanges on any gift purchases made between November 5th and December 27th will now be accepted until January 10th, 2005. This is over and above the everyday return policy of 30 days on most products; Computers, Monitors, Direct To You Custom Built Computers, Printers, Notebook Computers, Camcorders, Digital Cameras, Radar Detectors, Portable DVD Players and Air Conditioners can be returned or exchanged up to 14 days after you receive your order.

    To me, it sounds like notebooks can only be exhanged 14 DAYS after purchased. Does anyone know what the policy is for the holidays? Thanks a bunch.

    No, I haven't bought it yet, but I think I'm going to buy it today [ :D]

    I plan on using it for internet, watching dvds, downloading movies, listening/downloading songs, word processing, messenger, burning cds, etc.

    Just to let everyone know I bought the laptop. And I actually do have until Jan. 10th to take it back if I'm unhappy (yay) :)
