    G25- av513 Power Questions

    Is there an extended battery for this model and if so, where can I purchase one?

    I notice that when I take this unit off AC power my screen brightness drops even though I have it setup to max brightness in the power setup.

    Any tips would be appreciated.

    I called Toshiba, the guy (level 2 didn't have a clue). Not sure what to do now. I updated the power saver software but still no luck.

    Pull the power and the screen goes dim even if all the power management settings are set to 8. FN f7 does not bring it back.

    I just asked a similar question in an old thread. Hopefully someone will know. I have searched the internet for the answer, and not found it. There are not too many complaints about this out there. With the number of Toshiba's in use, if there was not a way to adjust screen brightness, I think you would see thousands of complaints / posts about it.

    Maybe someone here will know how to fix it.
