Just wanted to share, I overclocked my 8600m's using ATITools, and am very happy with the results. Ended up going from the stock 475/702 to 570/810. 3DMark increased just about 12% with frame rate jumps as much as 20% (5-6fps on all of the tests).

ATITools is a great, easy program for overclicking GPU's. I found the max core speed and max memory speeds independently, then found a comprimise core speed in between and maxed out the memory. So far the temps are great, and it's been very stable (except during the testing phases of course).

Anybody know of an easy solution for overclocking the CPU's in the same way????

***I haven't tried to max out Crisis or Bioshock, but the games I play regularly (Trackmania, HL2ep2) are all running very well***

btw, I put some little bumpers on the back of my machine to raise the height a bit, and that really seems to have help airflow. Guess I'll need to clean it more often now!

My SLi3 will overclock to 600/900 stable and up to like 630/915 stable enough to benchmark. The cards are great overclockers in my opinion.

I run mine at 550/750. Never got brave enough to push further.

I run Trackmania at 600/840, but it crashes in 3dMark. I guess every machine is different.

Any suggestions for overclocking CPU....? The apps I've tried are beyond my patience thus far.

try increasing the memory clock a little more, 800 should be perfectly doable and give a decent performance increase over 750

have you guys flashed your GPU's bios's???? I'd thought about doing it, since I'm pretty comfortable with my speeds, but I'm not sure how to flash each of them independently.
