    hello,

I have a Toshiba Qosmio X775-3DV82 gaming notebook with gtx 560m and an i7 processor , so the annoying problem i am facing is that when i am gaming huge fps drop occurs randomly during the game , and i mean serious drops for example running a game with stable 30 fps+ it drops randomly to 3-4 fps which i suppose called throttling , i monitured the temp. of the gpu it never exceeded the 79-80 C when throttling occurs so it's not overheating.

what i noticed that fixes the problem is downgrading the driver from the current one "344.75" to an old driver "296.10" , when i downgrade throttling never occurs even when the gpu temp nearly 90 C , so this fixes the problem but other problems occurs , i can't run latest games without facing texture bugs , low fps and low optimizations etc..

so what's wrong? why throttling happens randomly when i update drivers?

Note: my bios version is 1.70 which is the version which is supposed to fix the throttling in qosmio notebooks.

thanks very much and sorry if its possibly the wrong section to post this.
