She has a Satelitte A65-S1064 that she got a little over a year ago. Everything was fine until she unplugged it the other night and aparently the pin in the power connection (in the back of the laptop) broke off in the AC adapter. So now the laptop gets no power, and I need to fix it. a) What is the name of the part that Im looking to replace (the powerconnection in the laptop), b) any clue where to find good prices on such a part, and c) am i in over my head (should i just send it in and cough up the $200-400 it would cost to repair). Thanks so much everyone!

You should send it in. I think, but am not sure, that it may require soldering work or a new motherboard. You could hope they find it defective at least...
