    Hi
    I have a Toshiba Satellite R15-S829. HD Hitachi (HTS541080G9AT00)

I would like to put a password in HD. How can I know if my HDD have this option?
In the BIOS I put a password, but I want one that protects the hard disk, so with somebody remove the hard disk and put in another computer it wont work.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

The problem of TrueCrypt is that in Linux it does not make any encryption of the volume, only a part of HD.
