I have been attempting to recover my hdd to the factory default by following the steps I've found online for accessing the recovery partition. But each time I restart my laptop while holding the 0 key' it bypasses the hdd recovery mode, and starts the computer. someone please help me!! I can be e-mailed at [email protected]

Are you holding the "0" key then powering on the notebook? Don't let go of the 0 key until you see message windows loading files.
