    HDMI use on an A305

    I've been trying to use the HDMI output on our A305-A6843 with no luck, does anyone have any helpful information for how to use this output?

    on my toshiba x300, its just a plug and play, i didnt have to do anything.

    theres also a program thats called hdmi out or something. it should have came with the computer, its part of toshibas bloatware.

    You may have to go into your video card set up. This is what I did. I have an ATI video driver and in there, there is a menu option for "mirroring" the video display onto an external screen. This is what I selected and it works fine. But audio is strange - sometimes there on my TV - sometimes not.
