    Hi.

I recently bought a toshiba satellite P105-s9722 laptop. After 30 mins of use, I notice that in the whole left hand side of the laptop there was an extreme heat esp in the buttom part.

I wanted to ask if this is normal or i need to replace or exchange my laptop for a new one? Kindly someone let me know with the same model if this happens to your laptop as well. Thank you.

Extreme heat is a very subjective term. Can you post some temperature readings? It is a performance notebooks so it will generate some heat.

I have the P105 in my sig and the left hand side does get warm but not to the point that it is unbearable. I do use a Spire Pacific Breeze cooler with it and that seems to help a lot during intense gaming sessions.

Also read through the cooling guide. Lots of good information there.
