    i have toshiba satetille m115-s3094(may play dvd without open power)
    but it cannot play dvd
    somebody help me
    hard drive i miss clean

    you cant play a dvd without turning the laptop on

    maybe they mean you can play dvd without going into windows

    um you have to turn your computer on to play the dvd, you CANT play a dvd when it is turned off.

    if u mean playing a dvd without going into windows then if u have formatted your whole drive, you have deleted the partition which lets you play dvds without windows.
