    hi every one
    I was given a satellite L755-S5254 but the bios have a password and he don't know what it is any more :(
    is there anything that can be done ? if worst comes to worst would pulling the cmos battery work ? I am hoping there is a way to force a new bios or something .PLZ help thank you

    Pulling the CMOS battery out for a minute or two should sort it. Nothing else you can do as far as I know.

    Usually a proof of purchase is needed to show ownership but I don't know if Toshiba service wants it.
    Contact your local service. They will tell you what to do.

    Removing the bios battery won't help. If it did, why bother with a password in the first place...
