Several weeks ago i picked a m70-cl1 at staples. Then last week I ugpraded the Ram to another 512 MB DDRII. (w/total of 1024) and Now i'm thinking of upgrading the hard drive (most likely in the summer) so I was wondering which brand should I go for? and (i'm coming from a 60GIG 5400 8MB cache) should I go for a 100GB or 120GB?

I think any brand is good, most important, you have to know what kind of your HD, ATA or SATA.

Whatever brand you pick, make sure that your laptop supports that size, some are limited to under 100GB and many are limited to 100GB, Seagate, Hitachi, Western Digital, and Fujitsu are all quality drives, I think Seagate has a 5 year warranty, but beware of Toshiba drives.

No the Sager NP 5320 supports SATA also, and there are others with the Pentium M that also support SATA. SATA just uses a 7 pin connector instead of the 40 (I think) pin IDE connector and allows for faster data transfer 150GB/s compared to 100GB/s I believe.

    m70 cl1 use ATA.
many people prefer 7200rmp 100G hitachi ($200 now, $1xX by summer!)
I think desktop use SATA (long) time ago, before DUO comes.

Brand-wise it's up to you. I personally like Hitachi, Fujitsu and WD - just avoid Toshiba's drives! One in my Satellite literally blew up, and basically totaled my notebook!
