If you have tried any games on the new A105-S101 please tell about this capabilities and how much system RAM you are using.

    Also list the games.

    Thanks!

I kind of answered this in your other post, but the 200M is a pretty weak gaming card. What kind of games are you planning on playing? The 200M will play most modern games at lower frame rates but will really lag at higher resolutions, if it is playable at all. I would recommend a notebook with at least a 128MB card, such as the X700/AXIOM (upgradeable) or better yet, a 256MB 6800 or 7800 (also upgradeable). If it is upgradeable, they will state it, because it is a major selling point. The A105 video card won't be upgradeable because it is integrated with the motherboard.

I have a monstrous collection of PC games that I have collected over the years. A lot of them I am going to revisit and finally play through... ie Baulder's Gate series, and Neverwinter's Night. I'll also try a few of my older FPS like Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I'll let you all know how it works out with my 2G of RAM on this notebook.

I wasn't really looking for a gaming notebook. It would still be nice to have a machine that can play some of my games on the go. I have a nice PC desktop that I built and it runs BF2 with everything on high @ 1024x768. I may try to load BF2 on my new laptop and crank everything to low @ 800x600 and see what happens.

I have read that the Radeon Xpress 200M is the best integrated card out there now and it can support DirectX9.c. Crossing my fingers here hoping that it performs well with DDR2 RAM.

    Come on Thursday!

That's correct, the 200M is the best integrated solution out there now, and scores very well for an integrated card on 3DMark05. Well above 500 in some cases. It should work well for you and easily handle the older games.

Seconded. The X200M should easily handle older games, however, don't expect to play many new ones with it. In addition, you won't really notice a difference in performance when you upgrade your RAM to dual-channel.
