I recently purchased my portege r835-p56x from amazon. I also purchased ocz vertex 3 (120 GB) SSD with it.

Now I'm trying to install the vertex 3 into HDD area, but it doesn't physically fit in. Has anyone installed a vertex 3 into portege ?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I have no experience with the OCZ drive. Are you saying the SSD is physically larger than the HDD? Is there a bracket from the SSD you can remove?
