Hi!
when I press the standby button (turn-off and select standby)
my computer refuse to go in standby. He starts, log out etc, but as soon as the hard goes off, he stars to spin un and the welcome screen apears.
I installed a fresh copy of windows xp pro and had this issue since.
Installed driver: intel inf driver, ati 6.4 catalyst, 4-1 card reader, touch pad, sound.
Why? I also install the toshiba powersaver driveronly. Not the software. But nothing happens. I remember lights going orange and blue when in standby, so is it any of the buttons or fn-esse driver missing?
help!!!

I suspect you need the toshiba hardware setup, power, utility installed.

Unfortunately, I didn't find anything for your specific model. The closest I found was the M65 and I don't know if that would work for your PC.
You might want to try and contact Toshiba directly for the software. -
Thanks you very much i'll give a try soon and post my results. Thanks!
