    Help! M70 won't go in standby!

    Hi!

    when I press the standby button (turn-off and select standby)
    my computer refuse to go in standby. He starts, log out etc, but as soon as the hard goes off, he stars to spin un and the welcome screen apears.

    I installed a fresh copy of windows xp pro and had this issue since.
    Installed driver: intel inf driver, ati 6.4 catalyst, 4-1 card reader, touch pad,sound.

    Why? I also install the toshiba powersaver driveronly. Not the software. But nothing happens. I remember lights going orange and blue when in standby, so is it any of the buttons or fn-esse driver missing?

    Hi ... I have the same model and it seem you installed your own copy of windows xp ? You don't have the preinstall version of home , do you ? Any ways the support website from Toshiba drivers / download might help you , Have a look below...
