I have a toshiba satellite A135 and when my son hooked up his Ipod, it froze. I had to manually shut down, and now when I turn it on, it has a black screen with a blue box, and it is asking for a password! I hope I didn't lose all my pictures and data! Please help!!

When the password screen appears and you have not set any password previously then I think you can just press enter and it will start. Hopefully you did not forget your password like i did and since its the blue screen i am guessing the password is set in the bios and in order to reset that you would have to get it send to a toshiba authorized repair place.

Yes the only way would be to get it send to Toshiba. Other ''possible'' ways will not be discussed here on NBR as it is against the forum rules. As the question is already answered. Thread closed.
