After reading a few good reviews (editor's choice here and laptopmag.com, decent review at CNET), went to Best Buy and tried out the e205 Blue Label.

Overall the package seems to contain all that I would want. I'm upgrading from an old Inspiron e1505.

However, the biggest thing that worries me is the keyboard - I wasn't in love with it. The buttons are very flush rather than raised, and it has a lot of flex. Overall, it surprised me that this was not mentioned as a possible concern in any of the reviews. Perhaps however I will get used to it with time. But I'm trying to decide this before making the purchase.

Are there any experienced users out there who could shed light into their thoughts on this laptop's keyboard?

    Thanks.

Maybe no one replied because several times you answered your own question. Anytime you are going to plunk down money for a laptop and you find things that concern, bug, and annoy you about the product it's best to move on and find something else. There are way to many choices out there to settle for something you may regret. Lenovo makes laptops that have solid keyboards. Yesterday they were running a sale on a laptop for $489 after the coupon code.

I own a Dell Vostro 1520 that has some keyboard flex. I can see it move a little but it doesn't affect my typing. But if you have OCD or it really concerns you then that's not the laptop you want. ;)
