    Dear guys,

I'm spinning. I've been searching for a Toshiba Desktop-replacement notebook.
My budget is quite limited to the max of US $800. Well maybe I can squeeze in more, but it depends on the spec.

I hope there are some Toshiba Notebook Deity over here who share to me what your suggestions are.

    My FAQ:
    - Desktop-replacement notebook
    - Weight does NOT matter
    - Preferrable Pentium M, but not CELEREON because it's too slow for me
    - NOT Centrino to push the price down
    - Preferrable already use the DDR2 memory for easy upgrade
    - 15.4" to 17.0" is fine for me
    - No frequent dead pixel history of complain
    - No bluetooth is fine
    - Available Wi-Fi is better
    - Stand alone graphics card is better.

I know much about HP/Compaq but little about Toshiba. Please help to suggest me what I should I purchase guys.

I also look for NEC lappy but no review about NEC lappy in this notebookreview forum

    Thank you very much,
    Monkey

So not Pentium M(Centrino platform) means there is no DDR2.
For your bugdet, I recommend Toshiba P25 series. It uses Pentium4 HT sequence,DDR,graphic GF 5200/5700Go Dedicated.
But, I am not sure if you can still get a brand new Toshiba P25. If your budget $800, second-hand P25 would suit your need.

Skywalker, tx for the 1st respond ever I get over here.

No what I meant was a Pentium either mobile or not, but uses the DDR2. It would be the recent generation of proc that use DDR2 but not necessarily to be Centrino. You get what I mean :)

Celeron is too slow for my need, I've tried before already.

Do u think I can still get brand new Pentium4 HT Toshiba lately?
How much is that Toshiba P25 in your country?

    tx,
    Monkey

    Hey Big B,

I'm in the AP area, does it include the shipping already?
Why do u want to sell your lappy, if I may know?

Still waiting more input from anybody.
To Moderator: Why there is no NEC manufacturer forum?...
I've been seeing NEC lappy lately n they all seems to be terrific in build quality and offers (OS, etc)

    Please guys, help me.
    Tx a lot,
    monkey

We don't get a lot of NEC owners here at NBR.com, so we don't see the need to have a dedicated forum for them.
