    Help finding a 14-14.1" toshiba notebook

    Hi guys. i heard that toshiba notebooks are reliable so i want to see which ones fall under these descriptions below. i'm using caps so that the answers will be a bit easier to read.
    General Questions

    1) What is your budget?
    UP TO 1300
    2) What size notebook would you prefer?

    a. Ultraportable; 12" screen or less
    b. Thin and Light; 13" - 14" screen
    c. Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen
    d. Desktop Replacement; 17"+ screen

    DVD-RW DRIVE (this is the one that burns/reads dvd's and cd's right?)

    Definitely need a Core 2 Duo processor, 1.8ghz, 800mhz fsb at the least, 1gb ram minimum, don't need a discrete graphics card, integrated is fine.

    I'd prefer if the build were durable. I've heard that the Sony VAIO's are notoriously fragile. Is this true? Also, I need this notebook before August 15th, gotta head to school for the fall.
