    Help needed on A200 BIOS

    My Toshiba Satellite A200 got stuck while updating the Bios. Now the system does not boot up, the laptop power indicator lights up, the hard disk and the CD-rom powers on as well then nothing . Please i dont know what to do, i ll truly appreciate any help render.

    I used the windows installer. While the installer was working windows crashed. I am using the Phoenix BIOS Recovery guide by zfactor right now. I ll get back on how it went cos i dont ve a floppy usb(the usb stick aint working for me)

    Yeah, I think the USB floppy is the way to go. Fn+B or Windows Key+B as you turn on the system. zfactor is a good guy. Follow his advice.

    I got the usb floppy but Recovery method not working for me. I ve tried all method but my Toshiba A200 still not booting up, all that happens is the fan, power indicator & DVD-ROM showing signs of life. I am so confuse help needed. The HP DriveKey utility do not see my usb floppy but the command line interface sees my usb floppy. I ve followed ur instructions on recovery methods on the target system(Toshiba A200) but the usb floppy only flashes for like 3-5 seconds twice then nothing(is that right?). Please help needed, I hope i can still make this work?

    You have to let go as soon as the floppy drive lights up 1-2 seconds- Also, try other USB ports. Mine would only work on one-

    If you did it right the light would go off, then on, and it will continue processing until done. You may have to unplug if it doesn't power off by itself. It should take about 5-10 minutes.
