Hello, this is my first post on this forum and the reason is I can't reinstall Vista home premium on my A200.
About a week after I bought my notebook, Vista really got on my nerves with its paranoia, so I decided to install Ubuntu, so I did. However, I use a lot of CAD software so I had to run Windows. Out with ubuntu, in with win Xp.
I installed Win XP pro from a CD of a desktop I used to own.
Finding the hardware drivers was a real pain, but I managed to get almost everyone (except the hotkey for brightness adjustment, which rendered my notebook useful on batteries for only 30 min. as the screen was permanently locked at its full brightness).
Anyway, seems something went bananas yestreday and win XP crashed everytime at the same exact moment after log on.
I wanted to go back to Vista using my 4 Thosiba factory disks (toshiba recovery wizard?), but all I got was this error message:
"ERROR: F3-FFFF-0008. An error has ocurred. Press Ok to turn off the computer."
And that's it. I can't reinstall win xp, because i sold my old desktop and the xp disk along with it.
What can I do to reinstall Vista???
    Help please!??!

    Greetings

You could use the recovery cd to reformat and start over. Otherwise, find the 5 dollar disk mentioned in a recent post and do a clean install with that. If you're handy, you can find it on bittorrent as well. Just plug in your install key on the bottom of the computer for activation.
