I already remove the screw in the middle of the laptop which holds the optical drive. I know how to eject the tray out with a tooth pick . But I can't pull it out. Does this thing has any extra screw around it.?? I pull pretty hard and it didn't go out.

Never mind, I figure it out. You need to remove the keyboard, then remove 2 screws that holds the DVD drive.. and remove it.

It took me a while to figure it out. I removed whole bunch of screws on the bottom of the laptop then I started on the Key board.

I'll order 1 ofthose NEC drive on Newegg to replace it. My local computer store has Pioneer slim drive. Is it anygood?
