I'm trying to remove the center panel of the R15S829 so I can replace the hinges on my clients Laptop, how do I do that?
I dont want to try to pry it out with a screwdriver (flathead) and be sorry later.
Any ideas?

Not sure if you want to. Did a google search and found this part:
That's the center-part with the cables. Looks like they're part of the "center-thing". Toshiba Satellite R10/R15 LCD cable with center hinge - TS36037 - $191.95US : Notebook Solutions, Parts, Service & Support
Maybe just remove the screen bezel to get to the hinges?

Good luck and keep us updated.
**EDIT** Just noticed the hinges are also part of that center system. -
Here's a Toshia Guide, thank you Scanner for finding this site!
