    Hey guys. My first post here. I would like some help. I am currently using my parents Toshiba Qosmio F20 and I was wondering: is it possible to record a TV show that comes from an external source (it's not fro cable or antenna)...

    The box thing that I want to record it from has an S-Video cable and the white & red cable. I would assume that it would be possible to put these into the laptop?

    Thanks =)

    Well, what exactly are you trying to record from? Most Satellite/Cable providers still use conventional cable that will work with the Qosmio's recording system.

    Also, the Qosmio series has a specialized cable converter that allows it to watch/record TV through Windows Media Center. I think that would be the only easy way to record TV into the computer.
