Ok, so about a week ago I ordered my Toshiba X205 SLi1 and it got here via UPS today. I've been tinkering with it delightfully all day, but about an hour ago, terror struck. The son of a ***** crashed while I was rolling back to a system restore point, and I did not receive a backup disc with it, so at this point in time, I'm screwed. The backup disk would cost me 40 dollars, and take five business days to get here through the mail.

I would be incredibly thankful if someone could post an iso of the CD-ROM for me somewhere, or transfer it to me somehow.

    Seriously...dude, I'm desperate.

I hope you read the forum rules cause software pirating and asking for it or speaking of it is illegal and any other illegal activities could get you permanently banned from this forum.

I was under the impression that the backup disc was supposed to be included with the laptop itself, and I simply didn't receive it through some error in shipping. I wasn't aware it would be considered piracy to download the disc. Please excuse my ignorance.

Your best option would be to get this from Toshiba, if it was missing in the original package they should provide it to you for free including the shipping costs.

yeah, should have gotten a Restore disc with the system... it won't let you do a clean install of just Vista, but will get you back to outta the box configuration.

Fuss at toshiba if it didn't include the disc.... assuming you bought it new... if you got it used and it didn't have one, guess you'll need a copy of XP or Vista and then download the drivers... I use a Vista Anytime Upgrade Disc and the key from the bottom of the Laptop for clean installs.
