    Help: Color Brightness Lowers After Start

    I've got a Toshiba Satellite Notebook with Vista, and for a while now, everytime I turn it on, it loads fine, and then the brightness lowers by around 60% and the only way I can brighten it up again is to go into Adobe Gamma. It started after I had to uninstall Photoshop CS2 and reinstall in after some of its files got deleted by accident. I have noticed that the cursor is still the normal brightness, but the rest of it just goes dark.
