    Help: Toshiba Satellite P55T 4K Ultra HD Touchscreen: P55T-B5235: Device Driver Support for Windows 7 vs Windows 8 and 8.1?

    Bought this from Costco. I havent had a Toshiba in many years so I was hoping some Toshiba regulars / veterans could help/ guide.

    It comes with Win 8 and I'll be running Win 7 x64 Ultimate on it as well. Either as a dual boot partition or as a VHD native boot.

    When I do a driver search on Toshiba support site with P55T-B5235 it shows a list of drivers which can be filtered by OS.

    The list of drivers available for Win 8 (I am guessing most of it came Preinstalled as well) is way longer than Win 7. I am hoping it works well without all drivers for Windows 7.

    I am wondering which Win 8 drivers WOULD be NEEDED/ MUST HAVE on Win 7 (given newer chipsets) or be
    NICE TO INSTALL and work with Win 7.

    Any thoughts / Experiences with this? Or with downgrade to Win 7?
