I just installed Win 7 in an old Satellite M35X-S149 with 2GB of RAM. It runs like a champ for general surfing. There is an exclamation mark on the video controller and I'm currently using a generic Win 7 driver as a result. Does anyone know where can I find the proper Win 7 driver for this old lappy? I went through Windows and Intel auto update sites but to no avail.

    Product Detected Intel® 852GM/855GM
    Current Driver Installed 6.1.7600.16385

    Hardware IDs:
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3582&SUBSYS_FF001179&REV_02
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3582&SUBSYS_FF001179
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3582&CC_038000
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3582&CC_0380

    Thanks!

Is there a vista driver you can use?

I don't think so. This lappy was from late 2004. Vista was way ahead of its time.
