I recently bought this laptop new. I haven't installed much yet Cisco VPN Client, ESET Smart Security, Turbo Tax and WinRAR. Also, I had uninstalled the Vista Ultimate that it came with, and installed the "OEM integrated Vista Ultimate" version, along with SP1. I reinstalled all the drivers as well as related software (Camera Assistant, Toshiba HD DVD player, Intel Matrix Storage Manager, Bluetooth, Fingerprint).
The problem is that every time the computer wakes up from sleep, either 1) the computer crashes within a few seconds and the blue screen comes up, or 2) I notice that the computer has restarted itself (due to the same type of crash, I believe) and I must log in again. Also, when the computer restarts after crashing, my network connection is lost and i have problems getting reconnected. I would have restart my laptop one or more times for the connection to be restored correctly.
I will have to check again to be 100% sure, but I remember the blue screen error shows the code "0x0000009 (some other codes within these parentheses)".
Also, I always have a wireless USB mouse attached to my laptop, and I notice that when the computer wakes up from sleep, I hear a low beep which sounds like my usb mouse has been disconnected (but it's not). At this point, I cannot move my mouse at all. About 10 seconds later I hear a similar beep which seems to indicate that my mouse has been redetected by Windows. Then, the mouse starts to work again. THEN, the computer crashes and restarts...
At first, I didnt have the Logitech driver and SetPoint software installed, but after installing them, it still crashes.
I don't know what's causing this. Could it be that my power settings wrong or inconsistent? Here are my settings:
On Battery:
Sleep After - 15 min
Turn off Display after - 10 min
Turn off Harddisk after - Never
USB selective suspend setting - Disabled
Wireless Adapter Settings - Max Performance
Plugged In:
Sleep After - 30 min
Turn off Display after - 20 min
Turn off Harddisk after - Never
USB selective suspend setting - Disabled
Wireless Adapter Settings - Max Performance

Try out the suggestions and links they have. Seems to me that you have a bad graphics/chipset driver.
