    Hi,


    I just buyed a Toshiba satellite A210,but I am facing a problem after I activate my computer from Hibernate mode.The screen after a certain time turns to blank.Every thing stops working,but the laptop still On.So that I need to press the power button to shutdown the computer everytime???

    hi, i ve got the same problem with my satellite a210, my screen goes blank suddenly while working with my computer, it might be a graphic driver problem i think, you should try to update the drivers for graphic driver.. i also guess it might be a problem with vista probably!! if anyone knows the solution please let us know...

    I had same problem, called Toshiba tech service, and with a few clicks and changes made to video settings, no more black outs. Hope this helps.

    did they tell you to put Cpu on 100% all time??? i heard that toshiba think this is a solution for this problem but i dont think so!!

    I wanted an A200/215 model when they first came out....
    but because of the intermittent problem that plagues the unit, I turned the other way...
    I called Toshiba back when the unit was introduced and "they were working on a solution" then.
    The only answer is to turn the cpu up to 100%....sorry, that is not a fix.
    If you read reviews on the units on best buy and circuit city web sites, you'll see how many people have/had this problem...I say had because they returned it.
    I wish they would fix it....good luck too you. You shouldnt have to spend 800.00 dollars and have issues like this.
