i dont know if its the cpu or not, i feel like its the fan or hdd, but the sound isnt there while windows is loading. i have NO idea why on maximum performance my processor speed vacillates between 1600 and 2260 like it should be.

the only options i have to stop this is to set it to 'always low' from dynamically switching, but this KEEPS IT at 1600. cant i just turn off this ed feature somehow so i can see if its the processor or not?

and rmclock doesnt support this chipset. its and E105 from best buy.

I just got the same laptop and only noise I hear is the CPU fan sometimes. The thermal throttling of hte CPU can be changed in the bios but the fan will probalby run more often.

i have this same problem. i'm about to take it in and see if they can fix it. it seems as though it's a problem with the hard drive.

also, have either of you experienced music skipping while moving the laptop?
