My previous laptop was an Acer, so I had encrypted some files with the Egis software that comes stock on Acer laptops. I dutifully saved some of the important files onto a thumbdrive. Last week my Acer died in a puff of smoke, so I replaced it with a Toshiba L305. Now I want to open the encrypted files that are on the thumbdrive. I know the password, of course, but the Egis software is Acer's proprietary decrypter and only works on Acer machines.

Is there any way to open these files, with the jpgenx extension, on a Toshiba laptop? All suggestions welcome.
