This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     The Tecras and Porteges are better than the Satellites. If you look at our "What should I buy?" FAQ in this forum and post back, we might find something better.

    The Portege R200 (is that the right name, it is the 12" one) is one of the nicest laptops I had the pleasure to see and use. Build quality is simply outstanding.
