I have a R200 that comes with Omni...etc Thing is now it is requiring me to give a boot password before it'll even boot up window in addition to window login/finger print.

I try going to the BIOS pressing F8, F2, DEL, while booting but can't reach the BIOS manu.

How do I disable the boot password requirement?

    Thanks.

To get into the BIOS of Toshiba notebooks, switch the machine off, then while holding down the ESC key, swtich the unit on. It will then ask you if you want to go to the BIOS.

It might be that you set a password in the "Toshiba Settings" in the Control Panel. You'll have to disable this for the boot password to stop the password prompts.

Thanks, never would of guess that... all the other computers I owned in the past is either F2, F8, or DEL...

Which is kinda weird, if I never go into the BIOS to set the password, how did the password got setup in the first place?

Some retailers actually set a password when u buy the machine. Our suplier does, in fact they have for the whole 40 or 50 Toshiba notebooks we have bought.
