    How do you feel about the Satellite L500D-ST2531?

    I'm considering purchasing this notebook, and a big reason is the AMD processor.

    I am getting one on thursday of this week through Toshiba.
    I think for the (sale price) it's a really good computer. The price is less than an Intel model of the same calibur because AMD doesnt pour tons of money into advertising, it only has 2 usb's, Toshiba uses their own HD, and the model is kind of like a "loss leader" they can charge a minimum for the unit. I's really good for the price and they will sell a ton of them. Also I'd rather have the ATI gpu intergrated or discreet than Intel's....I dont dislike Intel, it's just this computer is a smoking deal and it's really solid. I played around with it at Staples. The keyboard is awesome, really tight....
    The battery life may suffer a bit, but still a good deal...

    All pre-built Toshiba's are $100.00 off until 9/9.
    That L500D can be had for 499. cant do much better than that for what you get.
