Even with getting my desktop I've found that I game 90%+ on my laptop. Does FC run high @ 1280x800 in DX9 on the SLi1 [w/XP]?

I have run it on medium dx10 with my 8600M GT (no oc) with a decent frame rate, I would think that medium-high would work. At the resolution, you may not be able to tell the diff between med and high, btw.

Well I'll answer my own question for your future reference.

Remember, I'm using XP and therefore DX9. I still have just the 2GHz t7250 and the GPUs were clocked at 460/1150/800 and while I didn't check the heat, it seemed to be not hotter than most anything else I run, save Titan Quest [which just boils my cards, figure that one.]. FPS 30-50, mostly mid 30s to low 40s. I ran this for the first two places to attack. The two things I set to Low can be set to Medium for the cost of 1-3 frames total, I just didn't see much loss of visuals because Toshiba's "tru-brite" screen isn't exactly the best... so I took the FPS.

    Resolution - 1280x800
    AA - 2x
    Real Tree - Medium
    Fire - High
    Physics - Medium
    Vegetation - High
    Shading - Low
    Terrain - Very High
Geometry - Medium [I wanted to set it to High, but the water disappeared]
    Post - Medium
    Textures - Medium
    Shadow - High
    Ambient - Low

I run it on maximum resolution 1680x1050 High , ultrahigh and it run very well, except minor problems with the sound sometimes!
However, I always get this message when I lunch it ( your graphic driver is very Old, update it ) something like that.
Still waiting for nvidia new drivers for 9800 GTS SLi
