    How to downgarde vista to XP Toshiba u205-s5057

    Hey,

    I have the U205-s5057 and I don't want the vista anymore.

    I want to downgrade the vista to XP.

    How should I do it? where I can find all the drivers for XP (I only have vista drivers...)

    I would reformat and do a clean install. You would need to profile all of your hardware and determine what needed drivers. Toshiba, should have support for your laptop model and drivers it would need, unless they never offered XP for that model.

    I don't think they offered XP for that exact model, but I know they offered XP for the U205-S5034 model.

    How do I know what drivers I'll need after the format, and where I can find them?

    It's hit and miss taking many of these newer laptop back to XP. Most likley you are going to need the following drivers: ethernet - wi-fi - sound - video - card readers - modem - may need chipset. Most likely there will be a few others. Sometimes you can use drivers from similar series.
