    Hi,

I've taken ownership of a Satellite Pro M30 when our laptops at work were upgraded. The M30s have a very annoying habit of spinning their cooling fans right up and down every few minutes, whereas the new Tecra A9s that have replaced them have a constantly spinning fan that runs at barely audible low speed.

Does anybody know how I can get the M-30s fans running constantly like that? I can't see anything in the BIOS or whatever.

    Cheers,
    Mark.

Fan operation is controlled by the BIOS; if there is no option in there, try using SpeedFan.
