    How to get Q850 Keyboard always light up?

    Is it possible for Q850 to always have the Keyboard Backlights always ON when Windows boots up?

    I got it to light up in the BIOS, but once Win7 boots up, it turns it off again !

    Even when in resuming from hibernation, it still sets it off!

    I want it to always turn on.

    I think it is the Toshiba eco utility.

    After you install Toshiba Value Added package, you get a LED options in the power profile settings.

    The ECO Util did the trick.. However, changing out of ECO turns it off..

    Default ECO Setting isnt as green as it claim. My Power Power Setting consumes 40W; ECO about 50~55W...

    Eco on mine is 31w. Eco off is 37w. Those are averages with the system at idle.
