    Hi.

Just bought a used Toshiba Satellite A300-1CO.

I want to make a clean install of Windows Vista x64.

Is there a guide in this forum on how to do that (my main concern are what drivers should I install and the order they should be installed)?

    Thanks.

Also, where can I see a guides on how to open the laptop for a full clean.

make the recovery disks, i hope the last DVD will have all the drivers and junk applications and few important applications on it. if not go to toshiba website support n first download the drivers for your model. even if u dont have the drivers vista automatically installs most of the drivers that are necessary such as wireless, ethernet, sound, display. which version of vista do u want to install ultimate....

there is no order to be followed to install drivers. i dont know abt any thread which covers the install guide.

toshiba provides manuals for the laptop with pics but i dont know whether it provides manual on how to open them, anywayz u dont need a manual to open a laptop just unscrew n u can see the parts n easily identify wat u need to do next
