Hello,
I am thinking about getting this very nice computer. It has Intel Pentium 4 (3.06 processor) A 512 Memory and a 60 GB Hard drive. It also have 3 USB Ports, an intergrated 802.11g Wireless Lan. A 15.4 Widescreen with Brightview technology. Its the Toshiba A75-S209 and its brand new. Will i have problems with that computer? I hope my hard drive won't frie out. And I hope my CPU Fan won't go bad. Does Anybody have a Toshiba? Are they happy with? This is my first time were getting a Toshiba computer. We have a Dell computer and a HP computer. And i am getting SP2 on my laptop also.
well i got to go now bye

Well I just recently got a M35 S456. This is my first laptop and I dont have any complaints. It was a tough decision between this and a HP (AMD 64 processor)with similiar specs. I'm really pleased with my purchase. I have read alot of people complaining about toshiba though. I just fell in love with this one and then best buy put it on sale for 1650.00 after rebate. I jumped on it at that price.
I've only had it for 3 days and it's changed the way I do everything on the computer. I can't really say that much about toshiba other than so far so good! It's an incredible convenience.
Good luck with your purchase. -
Jason,
What will you be using the notebook for? The video card in this system is an ATI 9000 IGP with shared video memory. It'll do the job for business apps, DVD watching, internet surfing and some gaming, but lacks in overall power. It might be able to play some of the newer games, but since the card doesn't have the lastest graphics support (DirectX 9), it may not look that great (may have to drop all graphics settings to low). It also utilizes system memory and CPU resources which slows down the system overall. If you plan on playing the lastest games, you may want to get a unit with a more powerful GPU with dedicated video memory. Something like the M30/M35 series or possibly a different brand altogether.
