I cleaned the laptop last week cause I want to sell it. This week certain keys don't work. [Like "D" and "I" and "\" and "?" amongst others]
Is this something I can fix myself or is it something I have to hope BestBuy honors the extended warranty that is supposed to include hazards that I have?

I gave it two light squirts of some citrus based cleaner. I think what really caused the problem is that I closed the lid as I saw that it left a watermark on the screen. My closing the lid prevented the little excess moisture from evaporating.
Really was stupid on my part, but I've done so before without problems. [...probably because I had it open for a few hours afterwards] -
Newsflash: Electrical+liquid=bad juju.
Bummer. -
I also done it that way but, you should NOT do it that way
Just cross your figers so you not must pay for it.
Sorry to say that -

Bestbuy sent it out on their dime to replace the keyboard. It will take two weeks or so.

Anyway the important thing is that you get your laptop fixed
I cleaned my keyboard and now keys don't work.
