I tried in the What should I buy part and found this place and figured I would ask here.

I am looking at getting either the X205-S9359 or Satellite X205-SLi3.

I am looking for help in regards as far as what one is faster and what will get me more bang for my buck.

If you happen to own or know where I can find information on that please let me know!

I did find some information but no clear comparison.

    Thanks!

Unfortunately users with X205-Sli3 have not posted much of their finding to this point.

Based on posts they have made it seems the following has been determined with the S9359 vs Sli3. The sli3 produces more heat out the exhaust, but the palm rest, touch pad, and rest of the system does not appear any warmer than the 59.

For games that make use of the 8600 Sli there is an improvement in performance over the 8700 in the 59.

Weight between the two systems is not noticeably different.

A battery life comparison has not been posted yet.

From a speed standpoint on paper the sli has .2 faster processor, and the dual graphics cards will run faster than the single 8700 in programs that are sli optimized.

From a bang for your buck standpoint it depends what prices you can find each system for. If you compare the prices on Toshiba's website there is only a $100 difference between the two. In that case the sli would seem to give you more bang for the buck.

Well if someone that happens to own a sli3 or X205-S9359, can you please tell me if your happy with its over all performance?

Also if someone knows is there a 8800 card laptop from toshiba coming out some time soon?

Actually, I saw the floor model of the SLi3 at a local store. Even after running an intense render program twice, the air coming out of the SLi3 was not all that hot and more on the luke warm area. It runs much color then my A75. Based on that, and likeing what I saw, I bought one.

Good info! Im not too worried about heat. The other question I would have is how does the 8600 SLi'ed do ver. the 8700?
